Details:
Join us for "Ink & Earth: Nature Journaling," a hands-on camp running from June 15-19th, 1-4 p.m. for ages 10 and up. This immersive experience, led by instructor Melissa Matthews, invites curious and creative students to step outdoors and explore the beauty of nature through art and observation. Participants will create their own illustrated nature journals, documenting natural objects with pencil sketches and pen and ink, while learning watercolor techniques to add depth and vibrancy to their work. Utilizing a diverse range of animal and plant specimens for reference, students will engage in close study and thoughtful observation, enhancing their artistic skills and deepening their scientific understanding of the natural world.
