Voices for Freedom: A Living History Celebration

Join us for **Voices for Freedom 2026: A Living History Celebration** at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History on July 4, 2026, as part of the America 250 commemoration. This enriching event invites visitors to step back in time and explore the stories, voices, and spirit that have shaped our nation.

Experience guided tours led by costumed historical interpreters portraying iconic figures from America’s past, bringing to life the stories, struggles, and triumphs that have contributed to the fabric of our history. Event highlights include a special reading of the Declaration of Independence at 11:00 AM, interactive family-friendly activities, and opportunities to meet famous historical personalities.

In addition to historical exploration, enjoy the **Red, White & View: Parade Viewing Experience** at the museum. Relax with lunch, snacks, and drinks while enjoying the Mount Airy Fourth of July Parade. Admission to the museum is included with your ticket, and you will also hear from the America 250 Essay Contest Winner and be entertained by historical actors throughout the event.
