In celebration of 250 years of U.S. Independence we are throwing a Stevens County Family Picnic. Everyone is invited to come to the picnic shelter at Pomme De Terre Park in Morris. The event is patterned after the nineteenth century Old Settlers Reunion picnics. There will be Food, Games, Live Music, and community building. Food will include pork chops on a stick, hamburgers, and root beer floats. FREE Donations will support the Stevens County Historical Society programming. Your support helps keep the museum admission free. Games include Red, White & Blue flag tag, team trivia, tug-of-war, scavenger hunt, and more. Whether you are a visitor to Stevens County, a new arrival, or your family goes back generations, come on out and be a party of our community picnic. Thanks to our sponsors: West Central Cattlemen, Stevens County Pork Producers, Ag Country, Riverview Dairy, Willie's Supervalu, and more
