Shed the Meds

Join us for "Shed the Meds," an event dedicated to the safe disposal of unwanted or expired medications. Proper disposal is essential for protecting our groundwater and preventing misuse by children and others. The Suffolk County Sheriff's Department will be on-site to accept your medications, which should be in their original containers (please note that no sharps or liquids will be collected). Sponsored by Assemblyman Joe DeStefano, Sheriff Errol D. Toulon Jr., the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, and State Senator Dean Murray, this event requires no registration. Dispose of your medications responsibly and contribute to community safety!
