Youth Leadership Institute “Kaleidoscope Theater Workshop”

DOWNTOWN LB Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 1 – 2:30pm KALEIDOSCOPE is a FREE 12-week community-based theater & storytelling program open to youth ages 14-24 who live, work, or play in Long Beach! *No prior theater experience required* Build community and learn directly from local artists and community activists through a series of fun, interactive workshops! Use creative mediums like writing, acting, and mixed media to tell your personal and your communities' stories. The program will culminate with a local performance where you will get to share your lived experience and your art with your community! Dates: JULY to SEPTEMBER 2026 - Tuesdays & Thursdays 1-2:30pm *Program time will shift to Tuesday/Thursday 4:30-6pm once LBUSD resumes their school session* Participants will receive: Stipends $$$ Free food Free workshops and trainings Professional connections and mentorship Air conditioned meeting space Transportation support JOIN US!
