Kitchen Pail Distribution Event

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10am to 12pm, the City of Long Beach will host a Kitchen Pail Distribution Event at 2201 E. Anaheim St., where residents can collect complimentary kitchen food scraps pails to facilitate easy separation of food waste. Concurrently, the LBPD will hold a Park Activation event at 14th Street Park from 10am to 3pm, featuring family-friendly activities such as bounce houses, face painting, free ice cream, and an opportunity to connect with local police officers. Additionally, families with young children can enjoy Storytime at The Bembridge House, 953 N. Park Circle, from 10am to 11am, where preschoolers and toddlers can listen to stories and explore the historic home. All events are free and open to the public, welcoming all ages.
