Details:
Join the Lewisburg Photography Club for our monthly meeting that focuses on the art of black and white photography. This session is designed for photographers of all levels, exploring the emotional depth and structural essence that B&W photography can unveil. We will discuss why to shoot in monochrome, train our eyes to see light and contrast, compare in-camera versus post-processing techniques, and cover essential editing skills. Participants are encouraged to bring their cameras and share recent shots and insights about their interest in black and white photography.
Additionally, we introduce a photo challenge with two options for this month: Option 1 encourages you to creatively utilize aperture in your shots, while Option 2 invites you to capture images inspired by red, white, and blue themes. Submit your photos to photoclub@lewisburgartscouncil.com at least two days prior to the meeting for group display and discussion.
Whether you're new or experienced in photography, bring any device you use and come to connect, learn, and share your work in a supportive environment. Join us at the Lewisburg Arts Council and become a member to support ongoing programs. We look forward to seeing your creativity!
