Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90012 EVENT PARKING: Music Center Garage - $20.00 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thursday, September 17, 2026 or when full ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EVENT DESCRIPTION: Elementary school students (older students are welcome too), explore the historic Dorothy Chandler Pavilion through an interactive performance in the Eva and Marc Stern Grand Hall. We'll journey to Spain with the Toreador from Bizet's Carmen, meet the sad clown of Verdi's Rigoletto and a high-flying couple from Mozart's The Magic Flute and a stop by Paris with Musetta from Puccini's La Bohemebefore The Girl of the Golden West brings us back home to California. This will be followed by a behind- the-scenes tour of the opera house. Meet on the west side of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. We suggest you plan to arrive at the Music Center no later than 11:00 am in order to park and walk up to the Plaza. Remember downtown traffic! The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes and is followed by a 45-minute tour of the Opera House. .

*🡺NO-SHOWS: If you make a reservation and then do not attend a field trip it means that we still had to pay for your
spot, another family who wanted to come was denied the opportunity to attend and we may be “banned” from future
attendance by the provider.
*🡺A “habitual field trip truant” may lose field trip privileges for their family.
🡺LATE-SHOWS: Many of our field trips are very time sensitive and if you are late, we will make every effort to get you in. In some cases, if you are not there when we pay for the program we may not pay for your reservation which of course could determine if you get in or not. When an event is filled to capacity it can be difficult to get extra tickets. So please, allow plenty of time for traffic when planning your trip time.

The Event Listing may be "publicly" viewable; HOWEVER, the event is only for HOMESCHOOL students in the 12th grade and below. Parents/guardians must accompany all minors. Our events are NOT "Drop-off" events. Adults must sign-up with a student. We do not offer an "Adult Only" option for our Events.
