Toledo Lucas County Public Library

The Toledo Lucas County Public Library (TLCPL) serves all of Lucas County, Ohio, providing information, education, and inspiration to Northwest Ohio. As the area leader, TLCPL offers equitable access to its extensive collection, referred to as 'The People's University.' It was established in 1838, making it Ohio's first public library funded by tax dollars. The library system provides a wide range of services, including adult book discussions, enrichment programs, children's story times, and teen activities.
