Research Opportunity for Expectant Parents Following a Positive Prenatal Screening for Turner Syndrome
Are you currently pregnant and have received a positive non-invasive prenatal screening (NIPS) indicating Turner syndrome (45,X) or another sex chromosome variation?
You may be eligible to participate in a national research study designed to improve understanding of how sex chromosome variations influence early development. Researchers are seeking expectant mothers who have received a positive prenatal screening result and are willing to contribute to this important work.
Participation involves collecting a small section of the umbilical cord at the time of delivery and returning it using a prepaid shipping kit. Researchers will use these samples to study how sex chromosomes affect cellular function, with the goal of advancing knowledge and improving future care for individuals with Turner syndrome and related conditions.
The study is currently recruiting participants nationwide and plans to enroll approximately 30 families. Recruitment will remain open until enrollment goals are met.
