[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]This seminar is designed for Hazardous Waste Generators, Transporters, Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs), Transfer Stations, and Class D Recyclers seeking to improve their management of lithium-ion battery waste.
The program aims to enhance awareness of potential hazards and strengthen response preparedness for lithium-ion battery incidents. Topics will include a foundational overview of lithium-ion battery principles; associated hazards and risks; various energy storage systems and chemistries; damage, defect, and recall (DDR) considerations and misuse; as well as best practices for packaging, disposal, and recycling.
In addition, the seminar will cover fire response tactics and air monitoring strategies. A live lithium-ion battery burn demonstration will also be conducted.
You will need to stop at the security building and sign-in. If your name is NOT on the list of registered participants, you will not be allowed in. You must also have either a REAL ID, or a valid Passport or entry will be denied.
