Information on 2026 SC Primary Elections

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Monday, April 27, 2026) – The 2026 South Carolina Primary Elections will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026. To vote, state law requires a person to register at least 30 days prior to an election. Voters do not register by political party in South Carolina and may vote in either primary election, but not both.

Voter Registration Deadlines:

Deadline to register in person is Friday, May 8 at 5 p.m.
Deadline to register online, by fax or email is Sunday, May 10 at 11:59 p.m.
Deadline to register by mail is Monday, May 11 (must be postmarked by this date).

How to Register:

Register to vote in person at the Berkeley County Voter Registration and Elections Office (1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner)
Register online at scVOTES.gov
