Flower Pounding at the Modesto Express Library

Enjoy nature while getting crafty and exploring your artistic side! Learn the basics of the flower pounding technique and release the pigment from flowers onto fabric by hammering. You will leave with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind book bag to carry your summer read. Supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is designed for ages 5 and up. Please note that children ages 9 and under will need assistance and guidance from their parents or adult guardians. This event will be held outside the Modesto Express Library at 1002 10th Street, weather permitting. Sponsored by UCCE Master Gardeners of Stanislaus County.
