August 1 – Summer Abundance
We’re celebrating summer’s abundance and invite you and your tot to explore the season’s colorful fruits, blooms and creatures on a “nature’s colors” trail walk.
Tots will:
· Begin with Welcoming Song and a Tree Trunk Story
· Participate in Sun shapes provocation
· Engage in Nature’s Colors Trail Walk
· Practice noticing patterns of colors with a walk on the trails, discovering fruiting plants and other wildlife.
ABOUT Forest Tots:
Children ages 3-5 are invited to explore the season of the Lower Rio Grande Valley through nature inspired and Outdoor Learning Environment (OLE!) driven curriculum, with something new to explore each day!
Through story, sensory play, forest walks, and nature art, we are excited to connect and learn with the ecologies around us!
