August 7 – November 1 Comedy The Brave New Workshop brings its signature brand of insightful satire to bear on the current maddening contradictions of our nation in Hypocralypse Now! Americans will NEVER sacrifice their principles—unless it suits them at any given moment. We proudly uphold both the ideals of the constitution and unidentified masked government agents raiding homes without warrants. We oppose tyrannical dictators almost as much as we oppose anyone who disagrees with the President. We will fight to keep immigrants from taking over our country while we will also fight to allow an unelected immigrant to completely reshape our entire government. We want a return to family values, and we feel that a convicted felon who pays hush money to adult film stars and has five children from three marriages is just the guy to lead us into salvation. It’s… complicated. And if you can escape the crushing, existential dread that accompanies our new reality long enough to truly think about it, it’s actually hilarious. Brave New Workshop brings its signature brand of insightful satire to bear on the current maddening contradictions of our nation. Who better than the longest running comedy theatre in the country to celebrate all that modern America has become? So, brace yourself and prepare to laugh in the face of… whatever all this is. Veteran Brave New Workshop performers Lauren Anderson, Denzel Belin, Isabella Dunsieth, Doug Neithercott, and Taj Ruler appear nightly with Music Director Jon Pumper and Technical Director Matthew Vichlach. Hypocralypse Now is directed by Caleb McEwen. The show previews August 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th and 14th and opens August 15th. Performances run weekly through November 8th. Purchases are limited to 9 tickets for this show.
