Details:
Special screening of a new documentary exploring the culture wars surrounding American motherhood that distract us from the real issue: the lack of support for American families. Created by activist Reshma Saujani from Moms First, this project unites filmmakers, organizers, and moms who refuse to accept the status quo. Moms First is fueling a cultural shift toward a world where care is valued, families thrive, and motherhood is seen as the powerful force it is. Full run-time is 75 minutes. We’ll have time for an introduction and brief discussion afterward. Movie trailer: momsfirst.us/doc/ This event is free. Registration required. ADA Accommodation Requests
