Details:
Join us at the Pantoll Stage in the Pantoll Campground at 7:30 PM for an engaging Campfire Program on the geology of Mount Tamalpais. Contrary to popular belief, Mount Tam is not a volcano; its geological history involves a fascinating mix of rock formations beyond just magma and lava. During this evening program, you'll learn about the unique composition of Mt Tam and get a closer look at some of its rocks. Please note that the Pantoll Stage has no seating, so bring your own chairs, and feel free to bring food and beverages. As the event may conclude after dark, we recommend bringing flashlights or headlamps.
