Join the "Beauty in Resilience Climate Walk" during California State Parks Week, starting at Pantoll Campground at 9 am. This event, themed "Support Climate Resilience," invites participants to explore the stunning natural beauty and biodiversity of Mount Tamalpais State Park and the nearby Mount Tamalpais Watershed. Led by State Parks and Marin Water staff, the easy out-and-back hike on Old Stage Road will highlight efforts to support climate resilience. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a 4-mile round-trip hike and bring sun protection, drinking water, and snacks. Registration is required on the California State Parks Week website, where you can also find other related events. Parking is available at Pantoll Campground, located at 3801 Panoramic Highway in Mill Valley, which also serves as a bus stop for Marin Transit’s Route 61. Please gather near the campground restrooms for the hike.
