A companion to our Take Back Your Tech classes, these focused workshops allow for small-group work and guidance on customizing your devices to improve security and privacy and learning about alternatives to Big Tech platforms.
Attendees should have attended the Level 1 class (but will not be turned away if they did not).
This time: Level 1 in our climb to digital independence. We'll cover privacy settings on your devices, unsubscribing from unwanted services, choosing browsers and extensions, and some platform alternatives.
Curious but need some help? Bring your device (laptops too!) and librarians will assist you with your first steps in taking back your tech.
