LWV Day of Action Aug 8

The National League of Women Voters will be hosting a nationwide "Unite & Rise for Voting Rights" Day of Action on August 8, marking the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA). Leagues across the country will undertake activities working towards the goals of the VRA.
Join us at our office to write postcards encouraging citizens to vote in the November election. We will focus on cards to the neighborhoods known to have low voter turnout. As threats to voting persists, our League wants to do whatever we can to ensure everyone who can vote does vote!
