About the Band: Bill Magee is a legendary blues musician whose career began alongside Jimi Hendrix during the early days of “Jimmy James and the Flames.” After Hendrix departed for England in 1967, Magee continued performing throughout Europe with his band, the Kansas City Playboys. Now back performing after a brief hiatus, Bill Magee continues to captivate audiences with authentic Southern blues music and decades of musical experience. He remains one of San Diego’s busiest working musicians, performing throughout Southern California and beyond.
