The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Montgomery County will host a food handlers class in Willis. The cost of the course is $25 and registration is available online or by calling Rebecca Morgan at 936-539-7828. This 2-hour course is required for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. The certificate is good for two years and is valid anywhere in the State of Texas. This course is ideal for those who will prepare and/or serve food for the public, including volunteers and staff. This course is open to the public and you do not have to be a food service employee to attend and earn certification. Any individual who prepares and handles food can gain valuable information from this class.
