Details:
The Agriculture, Food, and Nutrition Evidence Center will host the webinar “Evidence Synthesis: Which Method is Right for You,” on June 24. The webinar is free, but registration is required. Evidence synthesis encompasses a family of research approaches that systematically compile and draw meaning from bodies of scientific evidence. These approaches are widely used to inform research, policies, programs, and regulations – but selecting the right evidence synthesis method to meet a specific need requires a clear understanding of the available approaches. In this webinar, we’ll explore evidence synthesis through a practical lens. We’ll compare key evidence synthesis approaches, including different types of systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and gap maps. Along the way, we’ll use clear explanations and real-world examples to show how their purpose, scope, and methods differ.
