Join us for the **Nature of a Classroom** teacher workshop on **July 27**, from **9 AM to 3 PM**, at **Sibley Nature Center**. This free workshop, sponsored by Ovintiv, invites educators from high school, middle school, and elementary levels to explore various educational opportunities in West Texas, including partnerships with local museums and nature centers such as The Petroleum Museum, Museum of the Southwest, Ellen Noel Art Museum, Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center, Midland Community Theatre, and the Bush Family Home.
The day will begin with an engaging Sibley Field Trip featuring a nature hike, feeding ducks, and visiting the education garden and museum. After lunch, participants will gather in the auditorium and Llano Room to meet our presenters and learn about TEKS-aligned lessons and field trip opportunities in the region. This workshop is a TEA-Approved Provider event, and participants will earn **6 CEU/CPEs**. Lunch will be provided. Registration is now open!
