Join us for an engaging NED Talk featuring Rose Wilhoyt, an alumna of Angelo State University and a passionate Collections Manager at the Angelo State Natural History Collections since January 2024. Rose graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2019, where she cultivated her love for natural history through various roles, including working with the bug colony, data entry, specimen preparation, and participating in outreach events in costume. During her studies, she gained invaluable experiences from mentors like Marcia Revelez, Dianna Krejsa, and Drs. Dowler and Dixon, particularly during natural history courses abroad in Europe. In this talk, Rose will share insights from her journey and discuss the vital role of natural history collections.
