The Historic Site Tour

Join us for a unique, immersive experience at the Historic Site Tour and the Adults Only Tour, where you’ll travel back to 1969 to delve into the iconic Woodstock Music & Art Fair. Hop on a golf cart and explore the magical field where 450,000 people gathered to share and enjoy music, as well as lesser-known sites like the Free Kitchen and the Art Fence. Throughout the tour, you will view never-before-seen photos taken at these significant locations.

For those aged 18 and over, the Adults Only Tour offers a provocative behind-the-scenes look at Woodstock. Discover the more taboo stories and intriguing historical details that may not feature in the main exhibits, including insights from the upcoming special display, How Bazaar! Arts, Crafts, and Camping at Woodstock. This tour serves as an excellent supplement to the Main Gate Tour, allowing guests to view artifacts and hear unfiltered stories from our Oral History Initiative. An ID is required for participation in the Adults Only Tour, which is an add-on to the 1:45 PM Main Gate Tour.
