Discipline is Not a Dirty Word is a two-part workshop that focuses on five positive discipline principles to create and foster nurturing environments in the home.
We focus on what strengths parents have and help them further learn ways to encourage their children to practice and develop the ability to self-regulate. This leads to greater collaboration and a more enjoyable family life.
Topics discussed during the workshop include:
- Different parenting styles and which one works best for you and your child.
- Why children behave the way they do.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
- How to set realistic limits with empathy and understanding.
- How to support social and emotional development in your child.
- Building healthy relationships that create a foundation for the future.
