Move, Print, Build
Inspired by the energetic work of Bianca Beck on view in the Main Gallery, participants will apply printmaking processes to embodied sculptures. Experimenting with bold and vibrant color, repetition and movement. Students will create freestanding sculptures and a variety of 2-D works that explore space, connection and self-expression!

About the instructor
Lydia Laslavic is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based out of Portland, Maine. Lydia was a former young lover of Art Lab for all and CMCA intern for the education department in 2025. Laslavic has been using textile installations, soft sculpture and photography to create work that explores labor, value and disposability. Her passion for found objects and sourcing second-hand materials fuels the themes of her work.
