Details:
Camden Public Library welcomes Le Bon Truc Trio to play traditional French dance and folk music from Bretagne, Alsace, Auvergne, and elsewhere, right here in the Camden Amphitheatre on Tuesday, July 7 at 6:00 PM. Featuring Steve Gruverman on clarinets, sax, and flute; Barb Truex on dulcimer, banjo, and tenor guitar; and Gary Chapin on accordions.
Over the decade, Le Bon Truc has played on street corners, in cafes, at dance festivals, in barns, in an orchard, and in a surprising number of churches. Their goal is to bring a little bit of uncomplicated rhythmic and melodic happiness with us wherever we go. And it’s great for dancing!
Bring a camp chair or blanket for comfortable seating in the Amphitheatre. Families, picnics, and dogs welcome! Free as always.
* If there is rain, the concert will take place in the Picker Room.
