**Mike Levine & Miami Spice**: Jazz pianist Mike Levine, based in the Sunshine State, has made a significant mark on the Miami music scene since the early 1980s. An alumnus of the University of Miami, Levine debuted with The Ross-Levine Band, gaining national recognition and performing alongside notable artists like Michael Franks, Gato Barbieri, and Dionne Warwick. With an impressive catalog of recordings, including several successful albums such as "From The Heart" and "Thinking Of You," his work has earned spots on the SmoothJazz.com Indie Chart and Billboard Jazz Tune Chart. Levine's latest project, an EP released in September 2024, featured collaborations with various special guests. His ensemble, the “Miami Spice” sextet, includes Latin Grammy-winning percussionist Richard Bravo and his son Sam Levine on drums. Mike Levine continues to perform a blend of jazz influences while maintaining his roots in the vibrant Miami music scene.
