Details:
Join us at Marrs Park for an exciting summer of advanced beginner and low intermediate pickleball, led by certified instructor Sue Carnevale. This program invites adults to discover the thrilling sport of pickleball, starting with skills and drills followed by live play. Choose from various sessions tailored to different skill levels:
- **New to the Game - Beginners Clinic**: Perfect for those who are new to pickleball, this session covers the basics, including rules, scoring, serving, and foundational shots like the dink.
- **Advanced Beginner**: For players looking to enhance their skills, this clinic focuses on improving serves and strategic plays, with attention to shot precision and court positioning.
- **Advanced Beginner/Low Intermediate**: This advanced session emphasizes shot consistency, stroke mechanics, and strategic gameplay, including the essential 3rd shot drop. Participants will receive on-court coaching as they engage in live games.
Participants should bring their own paddles (loaners available), water, and appropriate footwear. Note that there may not be restroom facilities on site, so plan ahead. A spring makeup date is scheduled for June 16 if needed.
Additionally, don't miss out on the Peabody Women’s Softball League, offering a great opportunity for camaraderie and competition. Join us for both exciting sports this summer!
