The New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) is a vibrant hub dedicated to preserving the state's rich freshwater boating heritage through engaging exhibits, educational programs, and hands-on experiences. Established in 1992, the museum offers diverse activities for all ages, including boat building classes, community sailing, model yachting, and boating safety courses. Visitors can admire a collection of antique and classic boats, take boat rides on Lake Winnipesaukee, and participate in annual events like the Alton Bay Boat Show. NHBM has recently opened a new year-round campus in Moultonborough, enhancing its mission to share New Hampshire's boating stories.
