Saturday, August 8, 2026 8:30am-12pm LWB Andrews Bay W Join us and Birds Connect Seattle on Lake Washington Blvd for a morning bird walk (8:30-9am) and habitat restoration after! Birds Connect will lead a bird walk seeing and hearing the beautiful birds of Lake Washington, then we will work to remove Himalayan blackberry and English ivy. Moderate Open to all ages. Participants under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult. For safety, volunteers are required to wear: Long pants made of sturdy material Sturdy, close-toed shoes Gloves (provided) In addition, we recommend that participants bring: Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring Rain gear Snacks for breaks Long sleeved shirt At least one full water bottle Small daypack for food, extra layers, etc… Google link: maps.app.goo.gl/FvydvWeNeoKiuU5F6Please carpool if possible.
