Sandy's

Sandy's is a musical project that evolved from the acclaimed Bay Area band The Botticellis, led by singer-songwriter Alexi Glickman. After The Botticellis disbanded, its members pursued various musical paths, with Glickman using Sandy's as a platform for casual recording and performances. The ensemble formed into a cohesive unit with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Burton Li, drummer Jeremy Black, and bassist Nick Aives. Their debut LP, "Fourth Dementia," was released in 2014, followed by the self-released EP "Prom" in 2016, showcasing their signature sound characterized by shimmering guitar tones and expansive melodies. Their latest work, "Sound of the Bay," embodies a more intimate and fluid vibe, blending harmonic sketches with improvisation, and further deepening their distinctive surf-jazz language.
