Spirit of '76

Join us in celebrating our country’s 250th birthday! Friends of the Cemetery is excited to sponsor Medina’s Spirit of ‘76 community event; taking place on July 4th, 2026 from 10:00am-3:00pm at Old Town Graveyard. Community members will meet early American figures such as George and Martha Washington, Betsy Ross, Paul Revere, Molly Pitcher, and Jim Smith, along with local historical residents Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Ferris and Austin Badger. Enjoy early American craft demonstrations, live music from Maidens Kiss, dulcimer and fiddle performances, kids’ activities, and plenty of photo opportunities!
