Details:
Youth Led Humanities is a program that has opportunities for teens to lead and experience the humanities through a variety of activities. Through a grant from PA HUMANITIES and IMLS we are able to offer a wide range of events where teens can try out different kinds of activities that they may not have experienced before. This past semester the teens focused on nature. They planted a butterfly garden at the library, attended the Philadelphia Flower Show, visited a tree nursery in Naylors Run Park, and more. The activities this summer will be determined by the teens involved, so these plans for activities are flexible.
This program is open to teens entering grades 7-12.
