The Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC) is the nonprofit operations arm of the Virginia Innovation Partnership Authority (VIPA). VIPC serves as a commercialization and seed-stage economic development driver in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Its mission is to support Virginia's innovators, entrepreneurs, and startups by leading funding, infrastructure, and policy initiatives. VIPC aims to grow and diversify Virginia's economy by investing in and accelerating innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship. They offer various services and resources, including Virginia Venture Partners, Commonwealth Commercialization Fund (CCF), Smart Communities, Unmanned Systems, Cybersecurity support, SBIR/STTR assistance, entrepreneurial ecosystem development, and startup company mentoring. VIPC collaborates with local, regional, state, and federal partners to achieve its goals.
