Join us for a comprehensive Canning Workshop designed for ages 15 and up, where you'll learn essential food safety practices and the techniques for canning acidified foods such as pickles, sauces, and jams using the water bath method. In this engaging session, we will work together to create one pickle recipe and one jam/jelly recipe, as well as practice inversion canning and alternative methods. All ingredients and supplies are provided, and participants will take home a jar of each recipe made in class. You’ll also gain access to our notes and recipes document for future reference, allowing you to confidently can your seasonal produce and enjoy it year-round.
Please note that space is limited; only registered participants will be allowed, so kindly refrain from bringing extra guests. Ensure your attendance before submitting payment, as refunds or transfers for cancellations will only be issued if we can fill your spot. Should you be unable to attend, you may schedule to pick up your workshop materials at a later date.
