Details:
Join us for two engaging events at the Arlington Public Library! First, celebrate Arlington Reads: Anne Byrn on the occasion of its 20th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the United States. This special event will explore American life, history, and culture through food. Enjoy a cooking demonstration in the library's portable kitchen and engage in a conversation with Anne Byrn, a bestselling cookbook author known for her works like "American Cake" and "Baking in the American South." No registration required; seating is first-come, first-served. The event will also be livestreamed and recorded on Arlington County's YouTube channel.
Additionally, families with children aged 0 to 5 are invited to "Cuentos en pijama para niños," a bilingual storytime program where we encourage attendees to wear pajamas for a fun and interactive experience. This hour features read-aloud stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays designed to introduce children to the joy of reading and library resources. No registration is needed, and seating is also on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on both events, please contact the library.
