What is ON THE ROCKS? A night of intimate, immersive theatre where you choose your experience. Some guests eavesdrop on the drama unfolding around them. Others become wrapped up inside it. Randomly selected audience members are adopted into the plot — becoming named characters with their own Inter-actor to guide them through the story. You influence how the story ends.
Directed by Amanda Meyers — LA-based creative director and founder of A Party at Anna's, specializing in interactive and site-specific theatre. Amanda has trained with immersive pioneers Jeff Wirth and Joanna Harmon since 2022. Her original immersive works feature live musicians, improvised scenes, and inventive productions that punch above their weight.
This performance is the culminating project of the Foundations of Interactive Performance workshop.
