Amateur radio is a fantastic hobby that allows people to communicate short and long distances around the world via radio waves, while Acoustics is the study of the generation, transmission, and reception of sound and vibration in the world around us. In this talk, we hope to get you excited about two relatively unknown but immensely practical scientific topics and show off fun demonstrations of practical Acoustics and Amateur Radio phenomenon.
