Chess Meetup

Join us for a Chess Meetup at the Fairview Library, where you can play chess, meet new people, and enjoy a relaxed morning of friendly competition. This informal gathering welcomes participants of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players, typically aged 12 to 99. It's a self-directed event, allowing participants to drop in, play games, practice strategies, and connect with fellow chess enthusiasts. While some chess boards and pieces will be provided, please feel free to bring your own. Note that this is not an instructional class; players will arrange their own games, and there may be instances where you need to wait for an available board or opponent. Parents of children under 12 are required to remain present during the event, as this is not a drop-off activity. Come join us for a morning of chess and camaraderie!
