Author Spotlight: Nico Lang

Tuesday June 23rd at 5:30 pm, we’re hosting a special author signing event. Let’s show some aloha to Nico Lang, award-winning LGBTQ+ reporter and editor, who is visiting Maui to raise awareness about the issues transgender teens are facing today.
Their book, American Teenager, comes from years of travel and interviews with this vulnerable population. The book will be made available at the event. Registration is not mandatory but it helps us plan, so if you’re interested, help us out by hitting the RSVP below. Mahalo; we’ll see you there!
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
