Outdoor Lapsit Storytime

Please note this program is held at 10 AM. This is a time change from our school-year storytime schedule.

Babies ages birth to 24 months and their caregivers are invited to join us for lapsit storytime! This program is full of rhymes, bounces, and songs and is intended for children to sit in their caregiver’s lap. The content repeats each week and focuses on developing the use of the five Every Child Ready to Read early literacy practices: read, write, sing, talk, and play. Registration is not required for this program.

This program will be held outdoors unless there is inclement weather or a heat emergency, in which cases the program will be held in the . For all outdoor library programming, we recommend bringing a blanket or towel to sit on, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Whenever possible we will announce weather-based program changes in advance on our social media and text announcements.
