Arts in the Garden

Join us for a vibrant celebration of creativity at the combined **Arts in the Garden & Forging Alaska 2026** festival on July 18th, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Palmer. This family-friendly event is cohosted by the Palmer Museum of History and Art and the Palmer Arts Council. Experience a day filled with live music, dance, and theater performances on the Palmer Alehouse stage, while participating in free art and garden workshops suitable for all ages and abilities.

Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with local non-profits offering hands-on art activities, along with exciting kids’ activities for younger attendees. Support over 40 local artist vendors showcasing their unique creations. Additionally, witness the artistry of forged pieces as skilled artists demonstrate the process of creating stunning works using heat and fire. Artists interested in participating can inquire about vendor opportunities, including a special booth fee incentive for live demos.
