This 1996 film adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved story features Matilda Wormwood (Mara Wilson), a gifted girl struggling with her neglectful parents, played by Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman. The plot thickens as she faces the tyrannical principal, Agatha Trunchbull (Pam Ferris), but Matilda discovers her telekinetic powers and stands up for herself and her friends. The screening runs for 1 hour and 38 minutes and is rated PG. Please note that outside food or drink is not allowed at the theater.
