SMPA's Youth Fall Sports Registration

Youth fall sports registration begins June 1, 2026-July 22, 2026. in Rec Desk.
*SMPA offers a competitive recreational league with a continued emphasis on skills development and fundamentals. Played on synthetic turf fields with LED lights and scoreboards. We’re excited for you to join our league today! During FALL baseball season, participants play in the age division which they will be playing in during the Spring 2027 season. No rec plus is played during the fall and No evaluations held for each sport!
*The cost for fall sports is $110 per player with the exception being T-ball and 6u soccer which will be $75. If you have three or more children playing in our youth spring programs, please come into the fitness center to guest services or call 256-891-8240, and we will assist you with your registration, so you may receive a multi-child discount (No multi-child discounts will be given during our early bird period). Participants will need a bat, batting helmet, and a glove for baseball and softball. Participants must wear rubber soled tennis shoes or molded cleats. No metal cleats are allowed on the turf fields along with NO sunflower seeds, gum, etc.! Soccer participants will need protective shin guards along with the shoes. Baseball uniforms include a jersey and cap. Softball and soccer uniforms include a jersey and socks. Please note: uniforms are ordered immediately following registration. Due to the timely nature of uniform ordering, exchanges cannot be honored. Please double check the size ordered to be correct. If the customer orders the wrong size, a new jersey (pants, cap, etc.) can be ordered at the customer's expense. If unsure, order a larger size.
Fall youth baseball, youth softball, youth t-ball, and youth soccer will play mostly on the same nights. Participants are welcome to play more than one sport but will be difficult to do so. Game nights will be Monday and/or Tuesday and/or Thursday according to participation. Practices will begin in August 3. A pre-season tournament will be held August 31-Sept. 3 or 4. Regular season games will start Sept. 8.
*Please list any siblings and/or step siblings playing in the same age division! If you do not list siblings and/or step siblings playing in the same age division, there is no guarantee they will be placed on the same team. Any other family members ARE NOT guaranteed!
*When registering, please be sure to include your cell phone to receive text messages from us regarding future registration dates, weather updates, delays and cancellations.
*All dates subject to change pending weather related delays or unexpected situations. Full refunds and/or SMPA youth recreational league credits will be offered if any events prevents us from having a season. The safety and health of all Sand Mountain Park participants & spectators is of the utmost importance to us.
