Kids and their caregivers are invited to join us at 6 PM on Tuesday, June 30 for a special author visit and craft. Kendal Heldt, author of Queen of the Rocks, will be reading her book. Queen of the Rocks is based on Marion’s own Planting Island causeway. After Kendal reads, we’ll use one of the treasures from the book, sea glass, to make a special craft to take home.
Copies of Queen of the Rocks will be available for sale at the event.
