Help a shelter dog find its forever home with your own two hands.

Join us at the Burleson Public Library for a free, hands-on art event supporting the dogs at the Burleson Animal Shelter. Kids will learn all about what the animal shelter does, how adoptions work and how our community can help pets in need.

Then for the creative part, each child will choose a photo of a currently adoptable dog and sculpt their own version to take home using air dry clay. All supplies are provided.

To finish, each artist will be invited to star in a short adoption video holding their clay creation and sharing why someone should adopt their dog. With parent permission, these sweet videos will be shared online to help the real shelter dogs get seen and get adopted.
