Join us from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, for an evening filled with hands-on activities, interactive exhibits and outdoor adventures designed to inspire curious minds of all ages.
Meet local naturalists, learn about monarch butterflies, bats, pollinators and native plants, build an insect habitat, create a firefly craft and discover why these creatures are important to our environment. Families can also enjoy a guided tree hike with Dr. Jessie Farris, complete a Nature Bingo adventure, see a butterfly release, meet live animals and take home free school supplies while supplies last. There will also be a snow cone/food truck on site.
Whether you're preparing for another school year or simply looking for a fun family outing, Burleson Nature Discovery is the perfect way to reconnect with nature before the first school bell rings.
